Saint Martin's University prepares students for successful lives through its undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs spanning the liberal arts, business, computer science, education, engineering, nursing and leadership. Saint Martin's offers programs primarily at its Lacey campus with a subset of programs offered at its extended campus located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and online.

Saint Martin's University has four colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education and Counseling, the School of Business, and The Hal and Inge Marcus School of Engineering.

Post-baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program

For those who already have a bachelor's degree, the post-baccalaureate certification-only program at Saint Martin's University provides the opportunity to earn Washington State teacher certification without earning a master's degree.

Secondary Teaching Alternate Route (STAR)

The STAR program is an accelerated option for our teaching certificate program for middle and high school with an available optional master’s degree route. This program is designed for students who already hold an undergraduate degree and who have at least one year of professionally oriented work experience. The MIT program can easily be added to the STAR program for those wishing to earn certification and a master's degree. Those looking for a non-accelerated route or for an elementary program are encouraged to explore our MIT program or our post-baccalaureate teaching certification program.

Washington Vets to Tech (WaV2T)

The 16-week Washington Vets to Tech certificate program provides computer science and information technology education, training, and professional development to active-duty service members in their last 6 months of service, veterans with an honorable or general discharge, and spouses of active-duty military or eligible veterans. Sessions begin each August, January and May.
