Murdock Trust Awards $296,000 Grant to Saint Martin’s University for Nursing Program Expansion
LACEY, Wash. – Saint Martin’s University was selected to receive a $296,000 grant from the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust of Vancouver, Washington. This grant will support expanding the capacity of the program by adding a nursing classroom and augmenting the capabilities of the simulation and learning labs in the Bruno and Evelyn Betti Nursing Education Center for enhanced learning, student access and program expansion.
Washington Veterans to Technology Program’s 1,000th Graduate Embraces Post-Military Career Transition Path at Saint Martin’s University
For a decade, the Washington Veterans to Technology (WaV2T) certificate program at Saint Martin’s University has been a passageway for service members transitioning back to the civilian workforce after their time in the military.
More than $2 million raised for student scholarships at the Saint Martin’s University Gala
LACEY, Wash. — More than $2 million was raised for student scholarships at the annual Saint Martin’s University Gala on November 4, 2023. Three celebrity guests hosted the event: Seattle-based chefs Tom Douglas and Roy Breiman, and Italian butcher Dario Cecchini. The black-tie affair has grown to be the premier culinary event in the South Sound region, featuring a live auction, a five-course gourmet dinner, and on-stage cooking demonstrations by award winning, celebrity chefs.
Saint Martin’s University Engineering Degree Programs Propel Alumni Into Rewarding and Challenging Careers
The engineering programs at Saint Martin’s University have launched students into rewarding and challenging careers since the University awarded its first civil engineering degree more than 70 years ago. This occupational avenue to success continues today with graduates like Tyrell Bradley, the principal civil engineer at an Olympia firm. Today, Saint Martin’s offers both civil engineering and mechanical engineering bachelor’s degrees.
