Saint Martin's University provides full-service protection to the campus community through the Office of Public Safety which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Safety officers patrol campus 24 hours a day with an emphasis placed on crime prevention and education.
Our services
The Office of Public Safety has direct oversight responsibility for all operational and administrative aspects of campus safety and security. In conjunction with the Office of the President, the office endeavors to provide a safe environment for all faculty, staff and students in which to work and learn.
Public safety employs four full-time staff members and a number of student officers.
Our services also include:

- Yellow emergency call boxes: Arts Building (central pathway), Burton Hall walkways (second floor, east wall), Marcus Pavilion (front door), Parson Hall (front door), Spangler Hall (front and back doors), Spangler parking lot
- Blue emergency lights: Baran Drive (near Meinrad Gaul Drive intersection), Saint Raphael employee parking lot, Parsons Hall (parking lot), Softball field (parking lot by sidewalk)
