Internal Audit and Risk Management

• Program consists of 12 semester credits and can be completed by taking four 8-week classes between late August and early May
• Credits may be transferred to the M.Acc. or MBA degree programs
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills necessary to develop effective business relationships, deliver credible information and project a professional image
• Identify, analyze and manage risk in organizations through Enterprise Risk Management projects with partners
• Upon completion, understand the risk-based internal audit standards:
  • Core frameworks
  • Risk management
  • Principles and methodology of occupational fraud prevention, detection, and investigation
  • Enterprise Risk Management
  • Internal controls, fraud prevention and detection measures
