Record-breaking $3.5 million raised for student scholarships at the Saint Martin’s University Gala with Chef Pati Jinich

LACEY, Wash. — A record-breaking $3.5 million was raised for scholarships at the annual Saint Martin’s University Gala on November 2, 2024. The black-tie fundraising event, which supports scholarships for Saint Martin’s students, featured a spectacular evening of fine dining, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, a live auction and heartfelt stories from the Saint Martin’s community.

Saint Martin's University Announces Theresa Hanson as Interim Director of Athletics

LACEY, Wash. — Saint Martin’s University announces the appointment of Theresa Hanson as the new Interim Director of Athletics. Hanson brings over 25 years of distinguished leadership experience in sports administration, including nearly a decade overseeing Canada’s only NCAA Division II program at Simon Fraser University. She has made a notable impact in enhancing the student-athlete experience and fostering organizational growth through strategic initiatives, facility development, and successful fundraising efforts. She will join the Saint Martin's community on Monday, October 28.

Saint Martin’s University’s new president William Brownsberger brings leadership skills that will guide his vision for the campus, community and students

LACEY, Wash. — When Dr. William “Bill” Brownsberger arrived at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey to serve as its 12th president beginning July 1, 2024, he brought key leadership skills from his more than two decades of college teaching and administrative roles. Those assets are guiding his vision for the future of the campus, the community and especially the students.
