Saint Martin’s provides support and resources to students, faculty, and staff to address concerns related to sex discrimination and has a Title IX Coordinator to oversees inquiries regarding Saint Martin's University efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, to ensure that immediate and appropriate steps are taken to investigate what occurred, prompt and effective action was taken to end the discrimination/harassment, the effects were remedied, and appropriate steps were taken to prevent the action or behavior from occurring again. In addition the Title IX coordinator:

Oversees overall Title IX investigations and compliance

Supports and selects Title IX investigators

Ensures prompt and equitable resolutions

Establishes a centralized reporting process for all sexual harassment/misconduct allegations on campus

Conducts on-going and annual climate checks/tracking/monitoring of sexual harassment/misconduct allegations on campus

Coordinates all training, education and prevention efforts
