Background & research interests
Dr. Clark is originally from Vero Beach, FL and has enjoyed living and working in FL, GA, VA, OR, and WA. She is passionate about the liberal arts, small colleges, first-generation students, and making higher education more accessible and equitable. She joined the Saint Martin’s University faculty in 2018 after completing her Ph.D. at the University of Georgia in 2017. Her passion for teaching and learning is lifelong and is shaped by being a first-generation student herself and understanding the challenges that today’s students face. Her research is centered on professional practice, small college environments, assessment, and the application of law to higher education.

Personal interests:
Dr. Clark enjoys traveling, visiting museums and historic locations, combing estate sales, collecting vintage holiday décor, and listening to dozens of podcasts. She is a decent baker who loves the Great British Baking Show. Her favorite companion is Riley, the poodle!
