Defense Intelligence Agency recruiting event

The Career Center is excited to welcome Saint Martin's University Alumnus, Major General Harry E. Miller, Jr., MBA '92, to talk with students about opportunities within the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The DIA is recruiting for a variety of opportunities and will host a panel discussion and Recruitment Fair.

  • This event was co-hosted with The Evergreen State College and is a great place for students to research possible career options, learn about graduate school, and find the perfect summer job or internship position.
Cabela's at Career Fair

Puget Sound businesses, government agencies, graduate schools, and nonprofit organizations interested in hiring job seekers will be represented at the Career Fair. We had over 120 organizations and 400 job seekers in attendance at our 2016 Career Fair! If you were not able to attend the event, please stop by our office to obtain a program.

Fall major fairs

The Fall Career Fairs are organized by majors, making it a great event for all students looking for opportunities within specific fields! They are also great opportunities for students who are still searching for the perfect major as it allows them to explore the possibilities.  If you have any questions on what to expect at the fall fairs, or how to prepare for it, contact Ann Adams or Alyssa Nastasi.

All students are welcome to drop in to the fairs as their schedule permits. No student registration necessary.

Alumni! You are welcome to attend these fairs as a job seeker, or to offer advice to current students. Find out about the many opportunities to get involved with students.

Fall Etiquette Dinner

Join Etiquette Consultant Arden Clise as she walks us through the basics of dining etiquette. This is a popular event that fills quickly, so register early!

Create a LinkedIn profile and learn how to connect with groups and professionals. LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 120 million members and growing rapidly. 

Resume and interview workshops

Join Career Center staff and alumni to go over the basics of resumes and interview preparation. Have a great resume to take to a job interview or upcoming Career Fair. Offered several times a year - dates to be announced.

Employer panels

Come listen to a team of human resources recruiters and SMU alumni talk about the do's and don'ts of applying for jobs and other workplace behavior. 

Major and career exploration panels

These are designed to help the undecided and/or hesitant find a major at Saint Martin's that interests them and has career options in the future. We have faculty and alumni involvement to help relate to each area of study. 

Alumni and employer workshops
