Saints Golf Classic

The annual Golf Classic is the University's largest fundraiser for Saint's Athletics, raising critical funds for student-athlete scholarships. The event draws alumni, businesses, sponsors, and donors of Saint Martin's University together for some friendly tournament competition! Individuals who join in and support the Golf Classic Tournament help us ensure we retain and recruit top athletic talent for the Saint Martin's University athletic programs.

Thank you for supporting Saints Athletics!

Proceeds from the Golf Classic raise critical funds for student-athlete scholarships. Each of our student-athletes — be they golfers, goalies, pitchers, sprinters or point guards — draws inspiration from your generous commitment. Because of your support, Saints athletes succeed on the court, field, green, and in the classroom.

The Alongi & Skeel families are the 2024 Golf Classic Scholarship Sponsors, supporting the Saint Martin's Athletic Foundation (SMAF) Scholarship Endowment. This endowment provides scholarship funding for the 250+ student-athletes in the 15 NCAA Division II athletic programs at Saint Martin's University. You can join the Alongi and Skeel families with a gift to the SMAF Scholarship as well online here:

Thank you from a scholarship recipient!

"I am very grateful for the opportunity to receive the SMAF scholarship. It has helped me immensely to have the chance to continue my athletic career and further my education at Saint Martin's University. I have always wished to become a collegiate athlete, and this scholarship has helped me fulfill those goals. I will forever be thankful for the SMAF scholarship!" - Mia Zachary, Women's Softball

Thank you for making the 40th Annual Saints Golf Classic a success!

The 40th Annual Saints Golf Classic, presented by Lucky Eagle Casino, broke new ground when it comes to community engagement, charity golf and all-around fun! With 148 golfers, 48 divisional winners, 22 sponsors, 7 on course contests, 10 on-course sponsor activations, and a dozen high-value raffle prizes, this year’s tournament was more than just another milestone in this event's impressive history.

Beyond the camaraderie, the event helped to raise over $41,000 for the Saint Martin’s Athletic Foundation’s Scholarship Endowment, bringing the total to over $540,000 raised over the past 40 years. These resources are instrumental in supporting enhanced intercollegiate athletic competition opportunities for Saints student-athletes and increasing the competitive success of all 15 of Saint Martin's intercollegiate athletic programs.
