Background

Kathleen O'Grady is President and trustee of The O'Grady Foundation, which was created in 1994 with her late husband Tom. For close to 20 years the Foundation has focused its giving within the arts community, and through O'Grady's involvement, a key focus has been to create a positive environment for artists who are working today.

O'Grady has served on boards dedicated to encouraging and exhibiting the work of contemporary artists. Such organizations include Playwrights Horizons, The Aldrich Contemporary Museum, as well as the New York Foundation for the Arts.
