He is Principal and Director of Business Development and Pre-Construction Services at FORMA Construction Company. Both in his professional career and philanthropically, Drew's efforts have been focused on the education sector.

As a fifth-generation Thurston County resident, Drew has a deep respect for the history of this area and believes that the only way to be successful is to give back to the community that has provided so much for him and his family. Drew has a long history of board and committee participation, including previously serving as President for the Olympia Tumwater Foundation Board of Trustees, Hands on Children's Museum and the Roundtable of Thurston County. In 2019, Drew received the Distinguished Leader Award from Leadership Thurston County, recognizing his deep commitment to his community. A proud resident of Olympia, Drew and his wife, Kylie Phillips, have two daughters.

Drew has been involved in the local A&E industry all his life and is one of the leading construction cost experts in the region. He has had the opportunity to serve as Laborer, Carpenter, Project Manager, Principal, and Estimator—lending him valuable experience with major development and construction in this market; as well as a comprehensive understanding of the procurement processes and best practices specific to local jurisdictions.

Drew’s extensive experience partnering with Thurston County stakeholders and community leaders to build exceptional facilities for local institutions includes his leadership of the FORMA team that delivered more than five major facilities at Saint Martin’s University— including the award-winning, LEED Platinum certified Cebula Hall.
