Behavioral Intervention Team

Saint Martin’s University Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) collaborates, collects information, identifies risks, and intervenes when appropriate to protect members of our University community from harming themselves or others. This is accomplished through specialized training and utilizing a proactive approach that balances the needs of the individual who may be in crisis and the overall safety of the campus community.

The Behavioral Intervention Team is embedded within Saints Care, and includes:

  • Dean of Student Affairs
  • Associate Dean of Student Affairs
  • Director of Public Safety
  • Director of Counseling and Wellness Center
  • Disability Support Coordinator
  • Executive Director for the Center for Student Success
