Accounting certifications

All students at Saint Martin's who graduate with a degree in accounting must take a Washington State Board of Accountancy's certification examination. The following certifications, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), ensure that only qualified individuals become licensed in the U.S. depending on which career path a graduate chooses. It is important that Saint Martin's students take the steps necessary to remain eligible to take the exam, prepare properly and successfully enroll for the exam. Saint Martin's students must closely follow the Washington State Board of Accountancy application process for licensing as a Washington candidate to become a competitive job applicant in accounting.
