Benedictine Leadership Program

In the Benedictine Leadership Program (BLP), you will learn about leadership, the Benedictine values, and how the two intersect. This program is dedicated to preparing students for leadership roles and responsibilities in service to the campus community. You will reflect deeply on your own personal values and examine how these values will help you address the complex problems facing our shared humanity.

Note: This program is required of all applicants for Resident Assistants, Orientation Leaders, and AHANA Mentors. It is also highly encouraged for all students interested in other leadership positions, such as the Associated Students of Saint Martin's University (ASSMU).

About the BLP

This is a three-part credit-bearing leadership course at Saint Martin’s University.

Benedictine Leadership Summit

The Summit is the culminating event for the Benedictine Leadership Program; including education workshops, small group discussion and recognition for those students who completed the Benedictine Leadership Program. Past summits have emphasized global and intercultural knowledge and awareness, with workshops, and have provided students and community members with tangible take away skills.
