Saint Martin's University Commencement for 2017

Tickets for commencement
Tickets are required for entry. We regret that we cannot make any exceptions. Each graduating student will receive six (6) tickets for the ceremony. Graduating students can pick up their tickets, along with their cap and gown, at the Graduation Fair held in the Norman Worthington Conference Center on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Children under the age of 3 do not need a ticket.
Seating accommodations and arrival
Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. for all attendees and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Marcus Pavilion has limited ADA seating available and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No more than one family member may sit with the person who needs ADA seating to maximize the number of ADA seats available for those who require it.
Baby carriages and strollers are not allowed inside the Pavilion or the Norman Worthington Conference Center. Please plan accordingly.
Caps and gowns, rings and announcements
Graduating students can pick up their cap and gown at the Graduation Fair held in the Norman Worthington Conference Center on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Rings can also be ordered at Graduation Fair or the University Bookstore. Announcements can be purchased through the University Bookstore.
Graduating with honors
Undergraduate students are eligible for honors if they have completed their last 32 hours in residency and have a cumulative GPA of:
|3.70–3.89||Magna cum laude|
|3.90–4.0||Summa cum laude|
Honor cords will be distributed on the day of commencement when the undergraduate students check in at the Grand Staircase.
