Dear Marylhurst alumni,

We were saddened when Marylhurst University announced in May 2018 that the University would close by the end of this year. As a fellow Catholic institution of higher education, Saint Martin’s is honored to serve as the custodial institution for Marylhurst University records and transcripts. We welcome Marylhurst alumni into our community.

Saint Martin's mission

Saint Martin's University was founded in 1895 by monks of the Roman Catholic Order of Saint Benedict. Our identity as a university is rooted in our Catholic, Benedictine tradition. Our mission is to empower students to pursue a lifetime of learning and accomplishment in all arenas of human endeavor. Saint Martin’s students learn to make a positive difference in their lives and in the lives of others through the interaction of faith, reason and service. We honor both the sacredness of the individual and the significance of community in the ongoing journey of becoming. We embrace our Benedictine values of community and hospitality, and hope that you will feel welcomed as a part of our Saint Martin’s family.
