What we do

The University president serves as the chief executive officer and the chief planning officer. The president takes responsibility for the definition and attainment of goals, for administrative action, and for operating the communications system that links the components of the academic community. The president is the official advisor to, and executive agent of, the Board of Trustees.

William “Bill” Brownsberger, STD, was unanimously selected as the 12th president of Saint Martin’s University following a competitive nationwide search by the University Board of Trustees. Dr. Brownsberger previously served as the vice president of academic affairs and workforce solutions at Mountain Empire Community College in Virginia. He assumed the presidency on July 1.
