International Education Week

Each year, Saint Martin's University and the Office of International Programs and Development proudly recognize International Education Week with a variety of activities and discussions aimed at celebrating the benefits of international education and worldwide exchange.

IEW 2022: November 13-18

Sunday, November 13:

Student Multicultural Mass:  A Faith Celebration of Our Many Cultures 
Abbey Church, 7:00pm 

Attend the Multicultural Mass hosted by Campus Ministry to celebrate with the SMU community filled with multiple cultural identities.

Monday, November 14 

Moana Movie Night 
Cebula 3rd Floor, 7:00pm - 9:00pm 

Watch with the Pacific Islander's club on the Disney Movie MOANA and participate in the Kahoot to quiz on your knowledge about the pacific islands.

Tuesday, November 15: 

Loteria y Libertad
DEC Lounge, 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Learn about immigration vocabulary and statistics and play a few games of Loteria by Latinx Student Alliance!

Lei Po'o Making Night
TUB Activity Room, 6:30pm - 10:00pm 

Learn how to make a Lei Po'o and Orchid Lei's with Hui O'Hawaii Club.

Wendy Wu Movie Night
DEC Lounge, 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Watch with Asian Student Association hit movie Wendy Wu: Homecoming warrior to learn about Asian Representation.

Wednesday, November 16:

Multicultural Festival
NWCC, 7:00pm - 9:00pm 

Celebrate a night from many cultures and performances from our Clubs and a featured lion Dance and win amazing prizes!

Thursday, November 17: 

Embroidery Night 
TUB Activity Room, 6:00pm   

WOCA will be hosting an Embroidery Night. Students are invited to learn about Global Feminism, Inequality, and Empowerment while making beautiful embroidery.

Friday, November 18: 

Ho'olaule'a Night
NWCC, Doors open at 5:30pm, Event starts at 6:30pm

Purchase a ticket at the TUB to join a mini luau Hui O'Hawaii club hosts annually.
