Saint Martin's welcomed back our friends and alumni for the 40th annual Saints Golf Classic and Reunion Weekend on Aug. 4-6!

Saints Golf Classic

The Saints Golf Classic was on Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, at the Capitol City Golf Club. The event is the largest fundraiser for Saints Athletics raising funds for student-athlete scholarships.

Reunion Weekend

Return to campus with fellow Saints alumni from every generation, and across the country, as we share memories and celebrate our time at Saint Martin’s.

Events schedule

Saints Golf Classic

7:30 a.m. Capitol City Golf Course
The 40th annual Golf Classic is the University's largest fundraiser for Saints Athletics, raising critical funds for student-athlete scholarships, drawing alumni, businesses, sponsors and donors of Saint Martin's University together.

All-class Picnic

10:00 a.m. Jan Halliday Memorial Plaza Lawn
Join fellow classmates for an all-class picnic, with special recognition to the class of '73 as they celebrate their 50th class reunion! Reconnect with classmates, swap stories, and catch up on life's adventures. Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m.

Guided Campus Tours

12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Departing from the Grand Staircase
Discover what's been added to the sprawling Saint Martin's grounds and explore some of the newer buildings on campus with this guided tour! Transportation via golf cart will be provided for those who wish to take part in the tour but cannot easily navigate the terrain.

Campus Scavenger Hunts

Self-Guided
Embark on a self-paced adventure around the Saint Martin's campus with a scavenger hunt! Stop at major sites, discover the many changes that have taken place over the years, and challenge yourself to trivia along the way.

State Capitol Tour & Olympia Farmers Market Visit

12:15 p.m. Grand Staircase
Embark on a private tour of the Washington State Capitol Building, led by a Saint Martin's alum. Take a shuttle from campus to Olympia to explore the gorgeous architecture and Washington State history highlighted in the walls of the Legislative Building. Following the Capitol tour, enjoy a trip to the Olympia Famers Market before taking a short shuttle ride back to the Saint Martin's campus. Attendees can expect to arrive back on campus at around 3:00 p.m. Space is limited.

Young Alumni Social

1:00 p.m. Cebula Hall, 3rd Floor
Connect at our Young Alumni social to network and chat over hors d'oeuvres and beverages! This is a great opportunity for our recent classes of graduates to see old friends and to come together with local business leaders and career professionals to get advice, ask questions, and make connections.

Saint Martin's Memory Lane

3:00 p.m. O'Grady Library
We've been combing the archives! For one day only, take a trip down memory lane at our pop-up history museum in O'Grady Library. Drop in at any time on Aug. 5 to browse pictures, articles, yearbooks, and relics from years past.

Brother Boniface's Art Tour

3:30 p.m. O'Grady Library
Calling all art lovers! Join Saint Martin's own Brother Boniface to explore the art of O'Grady Library. As the curator of the Abbey's Martin of Tours Collection of Pacific Northwest Art, Br. Boniface offers invaluable insight into the artwork displayed around campus. Space is limited and sure to fill up quickly.

Bingo

4:00 p.m. O'Blarney's Irish Pub and Restaurant
Wrap up your day of excitement with Bingo at O'Blarney's! Try your luck, win fun prizes, and stay for dinner at one of Saint Martin's favorite local spots! Please note that as bingo is held in the bar, this event is open only to those 21 and up. We do, however, encourage guests of all ages to enjoy a meal and fill O'Blarney's with Saints.

Mass

11:00 a.m. Abbey Church

Coffee with the Monks

12:00 p.m. Old Main Courtyard
Following Mass, gather with friends, classmates, and the Saint Martin's monastic community over coffee and hors d'oeuvres in the courtyard for one last Reunion Weekend hurrah!
