Trip description

Nursing faculty, Dr. Nikki Berry and Anne Schuchmann, led 11 nursing students to Thailand for 10 days to explore alternative forms of end-of-life care at a temple. The group enjoyed spending time exploring sites in Bangkok and the beautiful natural landscape of the temple in Sakon Nakhon. Students had a transformative experience learning what true holistic patient care entails and made some great friendships with patients and temple nurses and staff.

Trip details

Professors Chung-Shing Lee and Matando Wawa of the School of Business led a group of students on a unique program to the Czech Republic to visit our partner university, Silesian University in Opava. Students explored the historic city of Prague, experienced university life and Czech culture. They even had time to pop over to Poland for the day!

Trip details

Professors Chung Lee and Gina Armer of the School of Business led graduate students on a memorable trip to Japan where they visited the cities Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto. Students explored our partner universities and met with local students. They also visited businesses like Shiseido and Toyota. Students even had time to catch a Hanshin Tigers baseball game!

Trip details

French professor Kathleen McKain led students to learn about Paris, Perigord and the French Basque country. Students visited world-renowned museums, prehistoric caves, Troglodite villages, chateaux, the cathedral where Louis XIV was married and so much more! Students also had the unique experience of staying in a 12th century gite.

Trip details

Professors Chung Lee and Gina Armer of the School of Business led students on a trip to visit our partner university the University of Southern Denmark, located in Odense, Denmark. Students visited the headquarters of well-known multinational corporations, saw robot technologies and automation and learned about sustainable entrepreneurship programs.

Literary Studies professors Julia McCord Chavez and Stephen Mead led students on a trip to Italy where they studied Dante and traveled to Florence, Rome, Assisi, Lucca, Montecatini Terme and Pisa. Students saw incredible monuments like the Colosseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa!
