Office of Public Safety

Saint Martin's University provides full-service protection to the campus community through the Office of Public Safety which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Public safety employs three full-time staff members and a number of student officers. Office of Public Safety has primary responsibility for enforcement of University rules, regulations, and policy, applicable local, state, and federal laws, and enjoys a close working relationship with local police and fire services as provided by the City of Lacey and Thurston County. Safety officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day with an emphasis placed on crime prevention and education. Office of Public Safety encourages the prompt reporting of all crimes and suspicious circumstances.
