Commencement is the official ceremony during which academic degrees are conferred to graduates. The Saint Martin's University commencement program features the awarding of degrees to bachelor and master candidates, as well as the conferral of any honorary degrees. Also included in the program are remarks by the president, the valedictorian and the commencement speaker, who delivers the commencement address.
A reception hosted by the Saint Martin's Alumni Association immediately follows the commencement ceremony, located in a large tented area on the campus lawn west of the Grand Staircase.
The commencement ceremony for the Saint Martin's University Class of 2016 will be May 7, 2016. This site provides a complete schedule and description of ceremonies and events, as well as planning instructions for students, guests and faculty. Please visit this website often for continued updates as details become available.
Tickets are required for entry into the commencement ceremony. Each graduate receives seven tickets to distribute to friends and family. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for entry to individuals without tickets.
