Washington Vets 2 Tech spring 2026 graduates secure nearly 100% hiring placement with Oracle

LACEY, WA — The Washington Vets 2 Tech (WaV2T) program at Saint Martin’s University announced that 19 out of 20 graduates from its spring 2026 Server and Cloud Application: Data Center Technician cohort received job offers from Oracle following program completion.

The cohort officially graduated on April 24, 2026, following completion of the program’s intensive 12-week training model, designed to rapidly prepare transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses for high-demand careers in data center operations and cloud infrastructure. 

Graduates secured positions with Oracle at data center locations across the United States, earning average starting salaries of approximately $80,000, along with relocation allowances to support their transition into the workforce. 

A proven pathway to high-demand tech careers 

The Server and Cloud Application: Data Center Technician Pathway is a specialized program developed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals supporting modern cloud infrastructure. 

Through a combination of in-person and virtual synchronous instruction, technical labs, targeted professional development and industry-aligned certifications, students gain the technical expertise and career readiness needed to succeed in one of the fastest-growing sectors in technology.

This collaboration ensures that training remains tightly integrated with employer expectations, significantly increasing placement outcomes. 

Program overview 

The 12-week Server and Cloud Application: Data Center Technician Pathway is: 

  • Offered three times per year:  
    • January – April  
      • May – August  
      • August – November  
  • Available in online and in-person formats  
  • Designed for:  
    • Transitioning service members  
      • Veterans  
      • Military spouses  

Participants receive not only technical training, but also comprehensive career support, including resume development, interview preparation and direct employer engagement.
