Mission

The mission of institutional research (IR), as the designated office of official data reporting and analysis for Saint Martin's University, is to provide decision and planning support services to enhance institutional effectiveness. IR is committed to providing university leaders, faculty and staff with timely, objective and accurate information to help create a learning environment in which students can succeed academically, creatively, culturally, socially and spiritually. This is done by:

  • Compiling, analyzing and interpreting statistical data used in strategic planning efforts by university administrators, trustees and committees.
  • Facilitating and supporting institutional planning at all levels by designing useful and accessible information systems and documents.
  • Ensuring that Saint Martin's University provides consistent, accurate and reliable information to its external and internal constituents by coordinating compliance and external data reporting.
