Kelly Zenn, MA, LMHCA

Professional Mental Health Counselor

Background

Kelly is a licensed mental health counselor associate with a passion for liberation psychology and supporting people on their journey toward radically embracing their complex, whole selves. She has served as a survivor advocate at SafePlace, an individual resiliency therapist for BHR's First Episode Psychosis team and in private practice working with individuals and relationships.

Prior to receiving her MA from Saint Martin's University MAC program, Kelly worked as a farmer, wildlife field biologist and trained in social justice strategies at The Evergreen State College. All of these experiences inform her current work as a counselor advocating for healing on individual and systemic levels. She specializes in grief and trauma work and has competencies in multiple evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Strength-Based Therapy.

In her leisure time, Kelly enjoys reading, dancing, filmmaking, rock climbing, birding, backpacking or just spending time with friends and her chickens.
