Office of Public Safety
Saint Martin's University provides full-service protection to the
campus community through the Office of Public Safety which operates 24
hours a day, 365 days a year. Public safety employs four full-time
staff members and a number of student officers. Office of Public Safety
issues ID Cards, houses Lost and Found, offers safety escort service,
assistance with vehicles, has primary responsibility for enforcement of University rules,
regulations, and policy, applicable local, state, and federal laws, and
enjoys a close working relationship with local police and fire services
as provided by the City of Lacey and Thurston County. Safety officers
patrol the campus 24 hours a day with an emphasis placed on
crime
prevention and education. Office of Public Safety encourages the prompt
reporting of all crimes and suspicious circumstances.
