From Interstate 5 northbound take exit 108 and proceed to the College Street exit. Turn right on College Street. From College Street, turn left onto Lacey Blvd, then left on Franz St. then proceed straight across Pacific Avenue and the Marcus Pavilion will be on the left.

From Interstate 5 southbound take exit 109 and turn left at the College Street intersection with Martin Way. From College Street, turn left onto Lacey Blvd, then left on Franz St. then proceed straight across Pacific Avenue and the Marcus Pavilion will be on the left.

Free parking is available within walking distance of the Marcus Pavilion. Please see the campus map for specific parking information. Please be aware that parking is prohibited in fire lanes, pedestrian crosswalks or along a road or street not marked as available parking.

  • Useful information for visiting guests
    1. Q:Who should I contact to reserve space and/or coordinate my event?
      • A:The Saint Martin’s Office of Event Services office hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. M-F. You can reach the office at 360.438.4488 or by email at
    2. Q:Can Saint Martin’s University accommodate large group functions?
      • A:Marcus Pavilion can accommodate up to 3000 attendees. This venue can host sporting events as well as large catered meals. The Norman Worthington Conference Center can be divided into four separate rooms and can accommodate groups from 20-380, depending on the set-up.
    3. Q:Does Saint Martin’s University require a deposit to hold an event date?
      • A:To secure the date for your event, a deposit of 50% of the room rental cost is required as well as the signed contract.
    4. Q:When is the final balance due?
      • A:The Office of Event Services will email the final invoice immediately following your event which will include the remaining room rental fee as well as any applicable audio visual rentals and catering charges. Final payment is due 10 days following receipt of the invoice.
    5. Q:What methods of payment are accepted?
      • A:Payments may be made with cash, check, E-check, debit card, MasterCard, Visa or American Express.
    6. Q:Are we able to decorate the space?
      • A:Decorating is allowed within both Marcus Pavilion and the Norman Worthington Conference Center.  The rental term includes one hour prior to your event and one hour after your event for decorating and take-down. Additional time for decorating can be reserved at an additional cost. Decoration of the facilities is subject to the Event Decoration Guidelines within the contract.
    7. Q:Are we able to contract with an outside caterer and/or bring in food for our event?
      • A:Bon Appétit Management Company is the exclusive campus caterer and food service provider for the University. Bon Appétit can provide custom menu options and can accommodate special dietary requirements.
    8. Q:Can we have alcohol at our event?
      • A:Alcohol may be served at your event after securing University approval and a State permit or license, and subject to the Rules and Regulations within the contract.  Except with the prior written approval of the University in writing, all alcohol must be poured and served by Bon Appétit servers. The alcohol license or permit must be posted during the event and a copy must be provided to the Office of Event Services.
    9. Q:How large are your tables?
      • A:Saint Martin’s provides 60” round tables, which comfortably seats eight guests. Our six-foot tables come in two widths: 18” and 30”.
    10. Q:Is there Internet access within the venue?
      • A:There is free internet within the venue space.  Please contact the Office of Event Services for the password.
    11. Q:Will there be staff on-site during my event?
      • A:Event Services staff are always on-site and available during your event.
    12. Q:Is there a fee for parking?
      • A:There is free convenient event parking around the venue space. For events in which attendance is expected to exceed 700, please contact the Office of Event Services to discuss alternative parking options.
    13. Q:What is the official name of the venue when marketing my event and/or giving directions for GPS?
      • A:Please use either “Marcus Pavilion at Saint Martin’s University” or “Norman Worthington Conference Center at Saint Martin’s University” when marketing your event. Please contact the Office of Event Services for the correct logo to use in all marketing materials. The address for GPS is 5300 Pacific Avenue, Lacey, Washington 98503.
    14. Q:Is there on-campus lodging at Saint Martin’s University?
      • A:Saint Martin’s University has on campus lodging May through July. Please contact the Office of Event Services for availability.
