(Doc) Hecker created this scholarship to assist military service members and their families who are pursuing bachelor's degrees at Saint Martin's University. Nominations for this $2,500 scholarship are due from the Saint Martin's community each August. Recipients are selected on the bases of merit, service, and the quality of the written application.
