Sharing the stories, experiences and expertise of our students, alumni, faculty and staff is an important part of Saint Martin's mission to build community. We want to connect our student and alumni successes, as well as faculty scholarship, to national and international conversations.
What we do and why
The Marketing and Communications media relations manager works with local, regional and national news outlets to share the Saint Martin's story. The manager responds to requests from the media and distributes press releases to journalists and editors alerting them to events, research, campus news and the achievements of students, faculty and staff.
Other outreach efforts of the media relations manager and the Marketing and Communications team include maintaining an active presence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, where we engage with followers and seek those we want to follow in order to share the news of Saint Martin's. We also do our storytelling within the pages of Insights, the Saint Martin's University magazine for alumni and friends.
