3.21GIVE: Saint Martin's Annual Giving Day

3.21GIVE is Saint Martin's annual giving day, held on March 21 (St. Benedict’s Day). It is a day for Saint Martin’s alumni, parents and friends to give back and make a difference in the lives of students by making a gift to the area(s) on campus that mean the most to them and that will in turn make a profound impact on students and the services that support them.

Areas to support

Your gift will support any area you choose to designate when you make your gift. Whether you support The Fund for Saint Martin’s, scholarships, or a specific college or department, your gift is invaluable. Consider honoring the person you think of most when you think of Saint Martin’s. Make a gift to support the team you played on or cheered for. Support your field of study. Some examples include:

  • The Fund for Saint Martin’s (University's greatest needs)
  • Athletics (general or name your sport)
  • Your college or school (arts & sciences, business, education, engineering, nursing, graduate)
  • Fr. John Scott Scholarship
  • Fr. Kilian Malvey Scholarship
  • Fr. Bede Ernsdorff Scholarship
  • Les Bailey Endowment
  • Mary Law Scholarship
  • Other (name the specific fund, program or area)

How to support

Participation is the goal of 3.21GIVE. Whether your gift is $1,000 or $25, every gift is appreciated and adds up to make a profound impact on the Saint Martin's experience. There are three ways you can contribute during 3.21GIVE:

  • FAQ
    What is 3.21GIVE?

3.21GIVE is a fun 24-hour online fundraising event encouraging Saints and our supporters to support your favorite area of the college. The 4th Annual event is on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

    Where does my gift go?

100% of your gift will be directed toward the area(s) of the University that you choose. Common choices are The Fund for Saint Martin's (the University's greatest needs), scholarships and financial aid, and Saints Athletics.

    Are these contributions tax-deductible?

Yes. Your gift is tax-deductible, and you will receive an email confirmation as your receipt for tax purposes.

How do I decide where to direct my gift?

There are many giving opportunities at Saint Martin's. Choose an area that impacted your own experience or your student's experience. We encourage gifts to The Fund for Saint Martin's because funds are then able to be directed to the University's greatest needs with examples ranging from student scholarships to new classroom technology and lab equipment.

Can I set up a pledge or a recurring gift?

Yes you can. Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at (360) 438-4366 or advancement@stmartin.edu before March 21. Please note, only the installment given on March 21 will count toward the giving day total.
