Biography

Gerald Pumphrey served as the President of South Puget Sound Community College from 2006 – 2013. As President of SPSCC he created strategic planning process based on accreditation standards to drive campus master planning and prioritization of resource allocation including equipment and faculty positions. He led efforts to resolve long-standing accreditation issues and sponsored the development of online and hybrid learning programs.

Dr. Pumphrey has over twenty years’ experience in community college administration and an extensive background in workforce development.
