The 2018 Transfer Orientation session dates are as follows. 

  • Session 1: August 1
  • Session 2: August 15

All transfer students are required to attend a one-day transfer orientation session. During this session, students will learn about the various campus resources and attend an individual advising appointment with a faculty advisor to secure a class schedule. Lunch is provided.

Orientation schedules

Come get excited about studying at Saint Martin's!

Orientation schedules are now online! Please note that check in for students and guests will take place from 9:00-9:30am in the Norman Worthington Conference Center (NWCC). Students will have scheduled activities, including advising, until about 4:00pm. Parents and guests will have free time from 12:30 on. However, our university offices will be open, as well as an option for people to take a campus tour.

  • How do I register for orientation?

    Online registration will be open in March 2018. Please note that students will not be able to register until they have submitted their deposit, turned in all transcripts, set up their student email account, and turned in all medical forms. Once these items have been completed, students can register online using the form on this page.

  • What lodging options are available?

    For Transfer Orientation, students, parents and families are encouraged to stay at one of our partner hotels, which offer special discounts for family members of Saint Martin's students.

  • What should I bring?

    For Transfer Orientation, students should bring the below items:

    • Photo ID (for obtaining student ID card)
    • AP Score reports/College Transcripts (if transferring in credits)
  • What types of activities can I expect?

    During orientation, students can expect to participate in a variety of academic programs as well as social activities. Our program includes opportunities to interact with faculty, staff, and other new students.

  • Where should I park?

    For Transfer Orientation, please park at the Norman Worthington Conference Center. Check-in and breakfast will be inside the Norman Worthington Conference Center. This lot can be found on our campus map.
