The 2018 Transfer Orientation session dates are as follows. 

  • Session 1: August 1
  • Session 2: August 15

All transfer students are required to attend a half-day evening transfer orientation session. During this session, students will learn about the various campus resources and interact with campus departments (such as Financial Aid, Career Center, etc.) as well as meet other saints! Orientation will begin around 3:00pm and end by 7:30pm (dinner is included at no cost).

Advising Sessions:

When signing up for an orientation session you will also put your prefeerences for a 1:1 meeting (in person or on the phone) with an academic advisor. Our hope is that the individual advising will make the orientation sessions more meaningful with other Saint Martin's University information. Advising will take place beginning at 9:00am with the last appointments scheduled for 3:00pm. Based on your ranking, an advisor will reach out with you to schedule.

  • How do I register for orientation?

    Online registration will be open in March 2018. Please note that students will not be able to register until they have submitted their deposit, turned in all transcripts, set up their student email account, and turned in all medical forms. Once these items have been completed, students can register online using the form on this page.

  • What lodging options are available?

    For Transfer Orientation, students, parents and families are encouraged to stay at one of our partner hotels, which offer special discounts for family members of Saint Martin's students.

  • What should I bring?

    For Transfer Orientation, students should bring the below items:

    • Photo ID (for obtaining student ID card)
    • AP Score reports/College Transcripts (if transferring in credits)
  • What types of activities can I expect?

    During orientation, students can expect to participate in a variety of academic programs as well as social activities. Our program includes opportunities to interact with faculty, staff, and other new students.

  • Where should I park?

    For Transfer Orientation, please park at the Norman Worthington Conference Center. Check-in and breakfast will be inside the Norman Worthington Conference Center. This lot can be found on our campus map.
