In fall 2012 Saint Martin's University School of Business created an academic program specifically for Business Administration and Accounting students who want to continue their education and complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Senior undergraduate students in good academic standing have the opportunity to complete up to nine credits (three classes) in the MBA curriculum. Credits completed as part of the 4 + 1 program count as both undergraduate elective credits and Saint Martin's MBA credits.

Eligibility requirements

Students must:

  • Have completed at least 90 undergraduate credits (senior status)
  • Have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Not be enrolled in more than 18 credit hours of combined UG/Graduate course work for the semester

Petition process

Students should download and complete the undergraduate petition to enroll in graduate level courses and turn it into the School of Business office before the last day to add/drop. The petition will be reviewed by the MBA director. After a decision has been made the School of Business will contact the student and forward the petition to the Office of Graduate Studies. Students will be administratively added to the graduate level course by the registrar's office.

Tuition for up to nine MBA level credits are included in the students flat rate undergraduate tuition. To be eligible students must be a full time student (be enrolled in at least 12 face-to-face credits on the Lacey campus.) Extended learning division students pay MBA tuition.
