Every year there are steps you should be taking in order to set yourself up for success after graduation. By completing the steps below, each student will receive a free t-shirt and be entered in for the end-of-the year raffle!

How it works

First-year (0-29 credits)

As a first-year student, you will have many opportunities to get involved on campus. We encourage you to take as many as you can!

Below are the tasks for first-year students to complete in order to get a free t-shirt, and be entered in for the raffle.

  • Take the Typefocus assessment 
  • Submit your resume
  • Attend a Career Development event (Career Fair, Etiquette Dinner, etc.) or have an information interview with someone in your intended career field that could provide future contacts.

Sophomore year (30-59 credits)

You have one year under your belt … now it’s time to research and look into picking your major.

Below are the tasks for sophomore students to complete in order to get a free t-shirt, and be entered in for the raffle.

  • Declare a major
  • Submit an updated resume
  • Attend a Career Development event (Career Fair, Etiquette Dinner, etc.) or have an information interview with someone in your intended career field that could provide future contacts.

Junior year (60-89 credits)

Congratulations! You’re halfway there! You’ve had two active years on campus, so now it’s time to put your learning to the test off campus.

Below are the tasks for junior students to complete in order to get a free t-shirt, and be entered in for the raffle.

  • Complete an internship, job shadow, information interview, study abroad, service project, student leadership position, or other activity that defines your plan after graduation and develops your network 
  • Submit an updated resume 

Senior/graduate (90+ credits)

You’re graduating!!! This is such an exciting time, and we want to help you get set up for life after Saint Martin’s.

Below are the tasks for graduating students to complete in order to get a free t-shirt, and be entered in for the raffle. 

  • File a qualifying plan – include where you have applied/been hired/accepted 
  • Produce a professional resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn Profile
