We are here to help you define your career goals and objectives as they relate to future employment or graduate school opportunities. Career planning begins when you enter Saint Martin's and continues through graduation and throughout your life. From first-year in to forty years out, we are prividged to serve all our Saints.
Career Center services
From helping you write a resume to conducting mock interviews, our Career Center is here to help you hone your professional job seeking skills. We'll introduce you to tools that pave the way to exceptional marketing materials and work with you to refine your presentation.
Saints Promise is our four-year career preparation program that comes with a guarantee. If you follow and complete all steps and do not secure employment or graduate school within six months of Commencement, Saint Martin’s will guarantee a three-month, paid internship.
Events for professional development
Developing the skills you need as a professional requires practice. We offer a variety of pro-dev events that allow you to hone those skills: trainings, workshops and panel discussions. In addition, each year we host three major fairs and co-host one career and internship fair where you can network with local employers.
The Office of Career Development, in partnership with your academic advisor, can assist you in locating an internship, a job shadow, or sources for information interviews. Many opportunities are posted on Handshake. Many opportunities exist, but are not advertised, so contact Alyssa Nastasi, Internship Coordinator, for help! You can also check out our new Internship Guide for more information.
You are already part of a valuable network of contacts: family, friends, faculty, and alumni are all important sources in the internship search. Let your network and the Career Center staff assist you in exploring out-of-classroom experiences that will enhance your educational experience and further define your goals.
