The library currently collects theses for the Master of Education and the Master of Teaching graduate programs. Theses approved since 2005 are cataloged, shelved in the Harvey curriculum resources room, and available for in-library use. Older theses are kept in special collections.

The process

After approval by your supervisory committee, the completed thesis with all signatures should be submitted to the library for binding and inclusion in the collection.  Style and additional requirements are specified in the College of Education and Counseling Graduate handbook.

Please schedule an appointment to submit your thesis. You must have:

  • One (1) printed copy of the thesis that meets style requirements and has all signatures. Additional personal copies may be submitted for binding.
  • Two (2) CDs with the final thesis, including the signatures, in PDF format, as detailed in the handbook.
  • Payment of $30 per copy of the thesis (check, debit card, or credit card accepted).
  • Completed thesis submission form.
Senior theses and capstone projects

O’Grady Library would like to collect electronic versions of senior theses or other undergraduate capstone projects. Departments should establish specific style requirements based on the style and citation guidelines most appropriate for their discipline. Please work with your liaison librarian to document these for the submission process. The library anticipates making senior theses available online through an institutional repository in the near future.

For research assistance or help with formatting the document, creating the PDF, or burning the CD, please schedule a consultation or contact the circulation desk at 360-688-2260.
