The Writing Center draws on the rich heritage of rhetoric and composition and has a close relationship with the English department. The Writing Center is a point of contact for the writing minor and provides students with one on one writing tutoring services.

Housed in the O’Grady library, we offer students a comfortable place to meet with peer readers who are trained to facilitate academic, personal, professional and creative writing. The Writing Center believes that writing is a right for all and a means of promoting social justice in the world. All disciplines are welcome.

Peer reader resources

In a relaxed atmosphere, removed from the classroom, peer readers ask questions and make suggestions that help writers generate topics, develop a thesis, organize material and clarify ideas.

  • Sign in times

If you only only have small windows of time to drop in and meet with a peer reader, don't worry. Take a look at the peer reader schedule to check which times they are available.
