In a relaxed atmosphere, removed from the classroom, peer readers ask questions and make suggestions that help writers generate topics, develop a thesis, organize material and clarify ideas.

First year/pre-major advising

Student advising

Academic advising is available for first and second year students and pre major students across the SMU campus. Come meet with the Advisor of Studies for Pre majors if you have questions about how college works, or need guidance with choosing a major and educational planning.
