Tuition for the STAR program for the 2013-14 academic year is $400 per credit
hour. Tuition typically increases by a small percentage each year (beginning
with Fall semester), thus the cost will likely be slightly higher for the
coursework taken after the summer intensive courses.
The total number of credit hours and estimated costs required for
certification (for the cert-only option) and for the certification and core
requirements (for the MIT program) are detailed on the
program schedule page.
It is important to note that additional coursework will likely be required for
endorsement requirements and for any pre-professional coursework needed by
students. These requirements are specific to each individual, as
undergraduate coursework and which endorsements are chosen are different for
everyone. We are happy to map out what your individual degree plan would look
like for the program.
Additional fees associated with the program include placement fees and fees
associated with the practicum. Students should plan to spend about $600 for
these costs in addition to tuition. The costs for books can vary, we estimate a
cost of about $1000 per year.
Additional military benefits
are available for review.
