Procession of Carols 2009
On December 6, The
Saint Martin's University
Chorale, the Office
of Campus Ministry,
and the Office of
International Programs
and Development
hosted the annual
Procession of Carols
and Candlelight
Mass. This public
event began at 5:30
p.m., when guests
were invited to
stroll the festively
decorated halls
of Old Main. The
University Chorale
performed old and
new holiday favorites
while Saint Martin's
international students
shared a variety
of food and holiday
traditions from
their native countries.
The guests then
followed the University
Chorale to the Abbey
Church for a prelude
concert before the
Candlelight Mass.
The evening concluded
in Saint Gertrude
Dining Hall, where
Abbot Neal Roth,
O.S.B. blessed the
Christmas tree.
