Lacey, Washington – The Saint Martin’s University’s men’s basketball team will take on the Western Oregon University Wolves Jan. 11 in the university’s first televised game, being televised on FOX Sports Northwest. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. at the university’s Marcus Pavilion, 5300 Pacific Ave. S.E. Viewers are advised to check local listings for the correct channel.

“It’s a big occasion for us. We’re hoping Saints fans will come out and pack the pavilion for the event,” said Bob Grisham, the university’s athletics director.

FSN will televise eight GNAC regular-season games along with the GNAC Men’s Conference championship game on Friday, Mar. 4, at 5 p.m. Pacific time. The winner of that game qualifies for the NCAA Division II West Regionals that begin Friday, Mar. 11.

The televised series, featuring seven men’s games and one women’s game during the regular season, began with the Jan. 5 contest between the Montana State University Billings’ men playing the University of Alaska Anchorage.
