Saint Martin’s celebrates Women’s History Month
Three events geared towards women’s needs

Lacey, Washington – On March 5, 6, and 12, Saint
Martin’s University will celebrate Women’s History Month with three
helpful seminars oriented toward women’s needs. All events will be held
in the Norman Worthington Conference Center and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
On March 5, naturopathic physician, Jennifer Booker,
and personal trainer, Becky Traber, will discuss Women’s Health and
Fitness. On March 6, Sensei Ken Nolan of South Sound Karate will offer
Women’s Self Defense 101, a seminar on simple ways to avoid situations
that put you at risk coupled with evasive techniques to help keep you
safe and sound. Participants at the self defense seminar must be at
least 17 years of age, in good physical health and should wear
comfortable clothing. Finally, on Thursday, March 12, Nicole England of
Edward Jones and Terri Degner of Anchor Bank will present Women’s
Finance.
