Saint Martin's University presents Nirvana in November, a cultural
celebration

Lacey – An exciting cultural sampler of music and
entertainment, Nirvana in November, will highlight some of the Saint
Martin’s community’s many cultures and wrap up International Education
Week Saturday, Nov. 19.
The community is invited to the free event, which
gets underway at 7 p.m. at the university’s Worthington Center, 5300
Pacific Ave. SE.
Sponsored by the university’s Office of
Intercultural Initiatives, the night of dance, music, poetry and more is
billed as “pure bliss” – nirvana. The talents of several Saint Martin’s
students and local groups will be tapped for an evening of progressive
rock, emo, interpretive hula, African dance, original poetry, Salsa,
acoustic rock, Christian rock and much more.
