Saint Martin's University to present annual sacred music concert

Lacey, Wash. – For the third year, the Saint Martin’s University department of music, will perform a concert of sacred music. The concert, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, will be at Saint Martin’s Abbey Church, 5300 Pacific Ave. S.E. The public is invited to attend this free musical event.

The Saint Martin’s College Chorale, under the direction of Darrell Born, will perform American spirituals, Latin hymns, traditional hymns with African influences, a peace song and excerpts from the Faure’ Requiem.

Between musical selections, readings of Biblical scripture and inspirational selections will be given by the Office of Campus Ministry, concert co-sponsors.
