Scholarship recipients include students from your area

Lacey, Wash. - Saint Martin's College is pleased to announce the
following students from your readership area were recently awarded
scholarships from the Independent Colleges of Washington.
Rachael Bartell, a junior elementary education major from Spanaway
was awarded the Washington Mutual Minority Teachers Scholarship, which
provides up to $3,000 to future teachers.
Carlos González, a junior business administration major from Los
Fresnos, Michoacán, México was awarded a $3,500 scholarship from the
United Parcel Service Foundation Award.
Angela Woolsey, freshman chemistry major from Chehalis was awarded a
$1,000 scholarship from the Pepsi Bottling Group Merit Scholarship.
Marlo Urdahl, a sophomore business administration major from Lacey
was awarded the Washington State Auto Dealers Service Award, which
provides $600 to high-achieving students.
Saint Martin's College is a Roman Catholic, Benedictine,
coeducational college offering bachelors and masters degrees in the
liberal arts and professions at its main campus near Olympia as well as
its Fort Lewis Army Post and McChord Air Force Base extension campuses.
