Tuition and fees
Summer 2012
Validation and payment arrangements need to be completed with
the student accounts office no later than the first day of
class. Internships or directed study classes that do not have
specific meeting dates must be validated by the first day of the
session.
Regular undergraduate courses: $575 per semester hour.
Undergraduate engineering and business-related courses,
additional program tuition surcharge (per credit): $30.
Master of Education Program (MED/MIT) courses: $575 per
semester hour.
Master of Engineering Management (MEM) and Masters in Civil
Engineering (MCE) Program courses: $910 per semester hour.
Graduate engineering courses, additional professional program
tuition surcharge (per semester credit): $30.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program courses
numbered to 500: $365 per semester hour. Above 600: $910 per semester hour.
Graduate business-related courses, additional
professional program tuition surcharge (per semester credit):
$30.
Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) Program courses: $575 per semester hour.
Auditing fee: Approximately one-half the regular tuition fee.
Students should inquire at the Office of Student Accounts for an
exact fee auditing schedule. The auditing option is only on a
space-available basis. First preference is given to regularly
registered students.
Lab fees and materials fees are noted in course descriptions.
Tuition from employers
Many employers offer their employees some form of tuition aid
for enrollment in job-related courses. For more information
regarding tuition reimbursement policies, contact the personnel
office where you are employed.
Refunds
The University refund policy is available in the official
academic catalog and

in the students accounts website.
Tuition paid for courses cancelled by the director of summer
session is fully refunded within 30 days of the date the student
accounts office is notified of the cancellation.
