Welcome to the MAC Alumni Association. This site is designed to help you.

What is the Alumni Association?

The MAC Alumni Association is a small social, professional, and administrative group made up of people who have attended the MAC program and have a genuine interest in maintaining their ties to SMU and helping the MAC program to flourish. It will likely be governed by a five-member board of directors. The Association is dedicated to establishing programs that support the program and its alumni. These programs include social, educational, and career opportunities for alumni.

Why Should You Join?

Membership in the Association is a wonderful opportunity for many reasons. At this first step in your working life, membership helps you develop relationships with fellow alumni, including some terrific alumni who you may not have met but who you will thoroughly enjoy. These "mentors" can be invaluable references in making career decisions and job hunting...and often become life-long friends. Membership is also a chance to stay connected to MAC friends and faculty members, people with whom you made memories during your years at Saint Martin's University. Your Association affiliation is a way to be actively involved with the MAC program through participation on boards and committees as a volunteer. Association members may also help screen new, prospective students applying for acceptance into the MAC program, serve as guest speakers in various MAC classes, provide the 10 sessions of required therapy to current students, develop and maintain a MAC Newsletter, assist current students with internship placement and new graduates with career placement, and other activities. It's a lot of fun and an important way to make a contribution. Some alumni consider their membership a great way to say "thank you" to the MAC program, which helped them launch their professional lives.
