Gerry Alexander, Chief Justice of the Washington
Supreme Court, will speak on providing counsel in civil cases.
Chief Justice Alexander was first elected to the Washington Supreme
Court in 1994. From 1973 to 1984, Justice Alexander sat on the
Superior Court for Thurston and Mason Counties. From 1985 to 1994
Justice Alexander served as a judge on the Washington Court of Appeals,
Division II. He is a graduate of the University of Washington
School of Law (1964) and recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Law degree
from Gonzaga University.
