Maintaining eligibility

In order to maintain your eligibility for both federal and state financial aid, you must demonstrate academic progress towards a degree program. We utilize both qualitative and quantitative measures to determine satisfactory academic progress (SAP). Failure to maintain SAP can result in the loss of eligibility for financial aid.

In the event a student fails to complete the entire term, their aid eligibility may be affected as well. Depending on when the student withdraws within a term, they may be subject to a return of aid.

Students are encouraged to contact our office if they feel they may be in jeopardy of not making SAP or will be withdrawing within a given term.
