Aaron's research interests include anaerobic microbial ecology, bioremediation, and metal-microbe interactions. When he's not teaching or in the lab, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family camping, hiking and bike riding. He also enjoys experimenting with single-celled fungi in fermentation experiments at home (results vary).

 

Steve Fulton

B.S., Stanford University, 1977; M.D., Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine, 1981. Professor Fulton's academic areas of interest include the human health sciences, with emphasis in anatomy, physiology and molecular biology. He is the department's pre-health advisor.

Mary Jo Hartman

Dr. Hartman’s research interests include predator – prey interactions of marine invertebrates in benthic ecology, with an emphasis on the intertidal zone and crustaceans. She has conducted field work in Washington State, South Carolina and Alaska and considers the outdoors as the true “laboratory” for learning. She incorporates field trips and field sampling in the courses she teaches at Saint Martin’s University.
